He is a licensed California Building & Engineering Contractor (#539500, issued in 1988). Jim has experience in the automotive, construction, and industrial design trades. He also has 17 years of research in the field of solid oxide fuel cell technology. The Hybrid Water Heater was patented by Jim under US Patent #7020387. Several more patents are expected to be filed in this field. Strategic Planning & Operational Management & Director: Keith Rutledge Keith has over 30 years of experience in the renewable energy and finance industries. He is the co-founder and Director of the Renewable Energy Development Institute, Director of Financing Programs for Solar Integrated and has performed work for the International Solar Energy Society, US Department of Energy, California Energy Commission, and several government agencies as well as utilities. He provides a wealth of expertise in technical and economic areas of developing renewable energy. Related work with hydrogen, gasification, solar electricity and cogeneration adds additional depth of knowledge to the Hybrid Water Heater management team for the creation of an efficient and cost-effective product. Applied Science & Engineering Senior Hardware Engineer: Roy Kaylor Roy has done pioneering work in many fields including: Microwave, RF, Medical Electronics, Electrochemistry, Vacuum, Automotive Design, Aeronautical Design, Hydrodynamic Design, High Fidelity Audio, Avionics, Packaging, Production Equipment, Telecommunications, Radiological Defense, Military Equipment, Rocketry, Switchmode Power Generation, Alternative Energy, and Electric Vehicles. He has designed and implemented more than 25 manufacturing facilities, lectured at more than 20 schools and universities and served as a consultant to more than 100 American Corporations. He has also founded, developed and sold several companies. Roy is an alumnus of Stanford University with a BS in Electrical Engineering (1961) and an MS in Physical Sciences (1964). Applied Science & Engineering Senior Software Engineer: Matthew Bradley Matt has over 20 years of experience developing advanced firmware and automated testing solutions. He has worked in a wide variety of industries, including defense, aerospace, telecommunication, medical, and instrumentation. Matt developed an automated test system for one telecom manufacturer that saved them $10 million dollars in its first year of operation. He has developed firmware for the radar industry and satellite communication industry. Matt has worked for industry leaders such as Agilent and is certified by National Instruments. He received a BA in Physics from Cornell (1989) and a Masters in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State (1993). Development Consultant: Daki Venetoulis Daki’s career has focused on organizing and promoting environmentally related enterprises. He is the co-founder of Fresh Start Farms, a job-training, urban greening, and environmental education center. He has also served as the manager of Berkeley Electric Shuttle Transit, a low-pollution electric commuter system in Berkeley, CA. Daki is the co-founder of Ecos Technologies which develops enterprise software for tracking efficiency gains in corporate EH&S data. Daki received a B.A. in Philosophy from SUNY New Paltz (1992). Murphy Stephen is a certified civil trial advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy and is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates.
